Blowing out the candles…

voice2.jpgThe celebrations in July were a fabulous success, thank you to all those who came along and took part, it was wonderful day for all involved. With music from students and staff past and present and all sorts of events including a balloon race (more news about that coming soon) it brought back some fond memories for those revisiting their time at Silverdale and made new memories for those who will look back with that same fondness in years to come.

Although the festivities might have come to an end, the dust hasn’t settled just yet and we’re going to be uploading video and images from the open day in July. In the meantime please feel free to add your comments to the articles below. We would also like to draw your attention to the 50th Anniversary edition of The Voice, which you can access and download as a pdf document by clicking here or on the image to the right. Those of you who left your address in the visitors book should have received a copy in the post. If you didn’t leave your address or couldn’t make it and would like a copy of The Voice then please contact the school either by emailing us at 50years@silverdale.sheffield.sch.uk or via the traditional methods:

Silverdale School secondary school is celebrating its 50th birthday this year and is looking for former pupils to get in touch and share their memories of life at the school.
